Case Study: 13,000 SF Silicone Roof Coating — 5025 Davis Blvd.
In May of 2025, Pepper Coatings LLC was contracted to install a silicone elastomeric roof coating over a 13,000 sq ft section of commercial flat roof at 5025 Davis Blvd. This flat commercial roof restoration was completed in 4 days with zero impact to the various property tenants. This commercial property is located at the intersection of North Harwood and Davis Blvd. in North Richland Hills, Texas, about 1/2 mile north of Interstate 820 and is just north of AutoNation – North Richland Hills.
Our scope was to power wash the existing roofing system and remove all debris. Then apply silicone mastic at all penetrations, damaged areas, and perimeter drip edge. We also sealed up all fasteners and seams in the metal parapet walls and metal wall coping with silicone mastic. We set new slip sheets and blocking for all condensation and gas piping. After all detail work was complete we installed an elastomeric silicone roof coating over the existing Modified Bitumen (Mod-Bit) flat commercial roof.
