Case Study: 35,000 SF Acrylic Roof Coating — Church of Christ at Sanger

In September of 2022 Pepper Coatings LLC was contacted by a representative from the Church of Christ at Sanger. They had been dealing with roof leaks throughout their building for years and had finally made a decision to get some quotes for a commercial acrylic roof coating to restore their 35,000 sq ft R-panel metal roof. After a free roof inspection and proposal we were awarded a contract and got right to work.

The Church of Christ at Sanger is located at 400 Locust St. at the intersection of Locust Street and South 5th Street in the heart of Sanger Town Center in Denton County. The property is located just south of Babe’s Chicken Dinner House and is about 1/2 mile due east of Interstate I-35 and about 2.5 miles south of the Walmart Distribution Center.

Our project scope was to power wash the existing commercial R-panel metal roof. 3-course all horizontal seams and penetrations. And finally, to spray apply in two coats a dark grey acrylic roof coating over the existing R-panel roofing system. The finished custom colored acrylic roof coating was beautiful and blended nicely with the existing wall colors, and of course resolved the roof leaks.
