Pepper Coatings LLC was contacted by a representative from Saint Camillus Medical Center in Hurst, Texas in April of 2024 and requested a quote for a silicone roof coating. The property is located at 809 West Harwood Rd. at the intersection of Precinct Line Road and West Harwood Road in Hurst, bordering Tarrant County Community College to the south and the Walmart SuperCenter to the east. This 3-floor commercial medical facility had an existing TPO roofing system that had been leaking in several locations for a few years on both the lower and upper decks. Our project scope was to cut out all the existing walk pads as they had begun to delaminate and then power wash the existing flat TPO roofing sections and remove all debris. Then apply a red TPO primer over all TPO surfaces. We then sealed all field seams, penetrations, metal coping joints, and drains with silicone mastic. Finally we applied a new white silicone roof coating over the existing flat commercial roof sections. Pepper Coatings LLC was able to complete this flat commercial re-roof in 5 days. For the most part we were out of sight of the different property tenants.
